When Ishita Malaviya first started surfing, there were only a handful of native surfers in India. Today, she stands as India’s first and only professional female surfer.

While traditions have been passed down from woman to woman throughout history, Ishita felt a different calling – a Call To The Ocean. She felt a deep need to connect with the most feminine element of all. It was a journey into the unknown, a learning experience, and a chance to write a new story.
